Workshop Duties & Reconditioning
For older applications where new units are not available we offer Cylinder Reconditioning. Cylinder reconditioning is charged by the job on hand, we'll provide you with a quote before the job is started.
Brake Caliper reconditioning is a big part of our daily routine.
We often recondition calipers for both customers that are restoring classic motor vehicles as well as for those applications where new is no longer available.
All our calipers are disassembled and checked then bead blasted to remove any imperfections, grit, sludge etc & coated in our anti rust cast-iron look coating bringing them back to better than new!
We always replace old pistons & all seals & bleeder screws to ensure they meet safety and ADR standards before being reassembled.
Caliper reconditioning is charged out by our hourly rate of
$143 per hour PLUS parts required.
We also offer in house disc rotor & drum machining provided the disc rotors & drums are within manufacturers specifications.
Simply bring your rotors or drums in and we will machine them on our state of the art brake lathes
All Disc Rotors have a minimum thickness recommended by the manufacturer so you must replace them before they get to this tolerance to avoid them becoming un-roadworthy
Flywheel grinding is part of our workshop duties and done in house on our flywheel grinder.
This is a must whenever replacing a clutch and will avoid voiding your clutch warranty.
We make In-house custom made brake hoses including ADR approved braided brake lines & standard replacement rubber hoses for various applications and custom applications including hot rods, street rods, muscle cars & classics. All hoses are made on our state of the art hose machine using Australian compliant Brakequip fittings and hose.
